1. About this website
This website is operated by AMP Renewables Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. Our registered office is at 8 Bede House, Tower Road, Washington, Tyne and Wear, NE37 2SH.
2. Use of the website
By using this website you agree to these terms. The site is provided for general information about our services. Content is updated regularly but we make no guarantee that information is accurate or up-to-date at the moment you view it.
You may use this site for personal, non-commercial use to research renewable energy products and our services. You may not republish, sell, or sublicense content without our written permission.
3. Quotes and contracts
Quotes provided through this website are estimates only. A binding contract is only formed when a written contract is signed by both parties. Published price ranges (on /pricing and elsewhere) are accurate within 5-10% for 90% of installations — actual quote will be confirmed in writing after a site survey.
All installation contracts are governed by our written contract terms (a separate document provided at the time of contract signing), the Consumer Rights Act 2015, and our membership obligations under the Renewable Energy Consumer Code (RECC).
4. Cooling-off period
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have 14 days from the date of contract signing to cancel a residential installation contract without penalty. Cancellation requests should be sent in writing to info@amprenewables.co.uk or by post to our registered office.
5. Deposits and payment
Typical deposit: 10-25% of contract value on contract signing. Deposits are protected by RECC member insurance. Balance is typically payable on commissioning. Some commercial contracts use staged payments aligned with project milestones — these are set out in the contract.
6. Warranties
Full warranty terms are documented on the warranty page. Each installation receives: equipment manufacturer warranty (5-25 years depending on product), AMP Renewables workmanship guarantee (12 months minimum), MCS Installer Workmanship Warranty (2-5 years per MCS scheme rules), and statutory protection under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (6 years).
7. Limitations of liability
Our liability for installation services is set out in your written contract and capped at the contract value. We do not exclude or limit liability for: death or personal injury caused by our negligence; fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Privacy and data
Our handling of personal data is governed by our privacy policy. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office and comply with the UK GDPR + Data Protection Act 2018.
9. Cookies
This website uses cookies as set out in our cookie policy. You can adjust cookie preferences via the consent banner.
